Shortly after graduating with a Bachelor of Business from Charles Sturt University, where I received a foundation scholarship, I grew restless with corporate culture and so began a penchant for travel that led to many adventures around the globe, including the study of Eastern philosophy and practicing various disciplines of meditation.

I now spend my time between SE Asia and Australia, where I manage my online gallery, Sabai Designs Gallery, showcasing Southeast Asian art, crafts and antiques. I have written for Elephant Nature Park, a refuge for abused elephants, and wrote the accompanying text to the illustrated book, Elephants Living in Sanctuary, now in its second print.

I worked as the Deputy Editor of Citylife magazine (Chiang Mai), writing on Thai culture, travel and local events and lectured at Chiang Mai University on a variety of topics. For several years I enjoyed tutoring international school students and held creative writing workshops. My many passions include writing, photography, travel, Eastern philosophy, Asian antiques and art and playing guitar. I have completed several Buddhist meditation retreats and helped edit Karma for Today's Traveller written by Phra Bhasakorn Bhavilai (Author), translated by David Freyer.
